Camera shake: To eliminate this I put the camera on a decent tripod, locked the mirror up & used the self timer (this was the standard for all test shots). Long Zoom Lens .

For the last several years my go-to big moon lens has  Jan 16, 2020 I used 400mm prime lens on a FF DSLR. Aperture f/5.6, ISO 50, Shutter speed: 1/ 30 seconds. The setup was mounted on a tripod.
